My office is located within Holixir: a holistic women's health and wellness centre.

Is parking available nearby?

Holixir has access to 250 free and secure car parks with lift access. Look out for the blue parking sign directly opposite Holixir to take the entry ramp (above Woolworths). There is also street parking available.

Do I need a referral from a doctor? 

​

It is not essential that you have a referral, but it can be advantageous to have one.

Patients with a GP provided Mental Health Treatment Plan will be eligible for a substantial medicare rebate for up to 10 psychology sessions within one calendar year.

How much is a session? 

​

A standard consulation is $240 per session

(which is below the Australian Psychological Society recommended rate).

​

Patients with a Mental Health Care Plan will receive a rebate of $131.65.

How long does a session go for? 

​

Appointments are on the hour and a standard consultation is 50 minutes.

What should I expect at the first session?   

​

It is completely normal to feel a little apprehensive before your first appointment. We endeavour to help you feel as comfortable as possible.

At the initial appointment, there will be a brief form to complete and we may ask you to complete a questionnaire about how you have been feeling (depending on your presenting problem).

During the first session, you will be asked a range of questions to attain an understanding of what brings you to therapy.
